Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on treatment that works with the whole body to support healing and balance. Despite its name, it’s not just about the head—it’s about your entire system: body, mind, and spirit.
Using light touch, the therapist listens to your body in a way that mirrors how a counsellor listens to your words. This sensitive, non-invasive approach helps your body “listen to itself,” promoting relaxation and self-healing. Many clients describe their experience as comforting, deeply relaxing, and transformative.
In the context of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST), “biodynamic” refers to a therapeutic approach that emphasises the body’s natural healing forces and inherent vitality. Practitioners focus on the subtle rhythms and organising forces present in the body, often called “breath of life,” which guide the body toward balance and health. Instead of working directly on specific symptoms, biodynamic CST works with these underlying forces to promote whole-body healing and restore harmony at a deep, energetic level. This approach is non-invasive and highly respectful of the body’s own capacity to heal.
Who is it for?
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, supportive approach suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re seeking relief from physical discomfort, emotional distress, or simply looking for a space to rebalance and restore, this therapy can help you reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom and healing abilities.
I’m particularly passionate about working with adolescents, who often face unique challenges as they navigate physical, emotional, and social changes. Craniosacral Therapy can provide a safe and calming space for young people to process their experiences and build resilience.
This work is also highly beneficial for:
Babies and children, supporting them through birth trauma, feeding challenges, or developmental transitions.
Adults and parents, managing stress, anxiety, or the physical strains of daily life.
Individuals with past trauma, who may be seeking a non-invasive and body-led approach to healing.
Anyone navigating change, whether it’s recovery from injury, illness, or life transitions.
At its heart, Craniosacral Therapy meets you where you are, helping you move toward balance, ease, and vitality.

What Happens During and After a Session?
During our first session, we’ll discuss your health history, current concerns, and what you’re hoping to achieve. You’ll lie fully clothed on a treatment table, while I gently make contact with various parts of your body.I will listen to the subtle rhythms of your body—like the ebb and flow of the tide—and help your system release any areas of tension, encouraging deep relaxation and healing. This process creates a safe, supportive space where your body can tap into its wisdom and healing potential.
After a session, many clients report feeling more relaxed, with a greater sense of clarity and balance. For those dealing with long-standing issues, you may feel more aware of your body’s needs and experience emotional shifts as part of the healing process. Over time, regular sessions can support physical and emotional healing while enhancing your overall well-being and self-awareness.
